01Description
BIT-100 is a serum-free supplement providing bovine serum albumin, human recombinant insulin and human transferrin. It replaces serum in Cancer Stem Cell Medium for the defined culture of human cancer stem cells. We offer BIT-100 for use with Cancer Stem Cell Medium, basal, together with L-glutamine. It is used at a final concentration of 20 %, for example 10 ml BIT-100 added to 50 ml basal medium. The supplement is shipped on dry ice and stored at −20 °C; after thawing, it can be kept at 2–8 °C for up to one month.
