SW527

SW527 細胞系是一種源自白人成年患者的人類乳腺癌細胞系。該細胞系建立於 1970 年代初期，並已被納入多項基礎研究，用於在免疫缺陷模型中闡明其致瘤性。 在其中一項研究中，將 6 × 10⁶ 個 SW527 細胞皮下接種至裸鼠體內後，成功形成腫瘤，這證實了其惡性來源。對所形成腫瘤進行的組織病理學分析顯示，其特徵與原始人類癌腫一致，從而證實了其作為乳癌模型的適用性。

SW527 已被鑑定為 G6PD B 型腫瘤衍生細胞系，此分類有助於排除 HeLa 細胞的污染，而這正是歷史性細胞系收藏中的一大關鍵隱憂。儘管如此，在近期的大規模資料集中，針對 SW527 的全面分子或免疫學特徵分析似乎仍顯有限。

總體而言，SW527 仍是一個經過驗證的乳癌模型，主要依據為其體內致瘤性數據。若能進行進一步的分子特徵分析，將有助於擴大其在機制研究或藥物發現研究中的應用範圍。

37°C，5% CO_₂，加濕環境。

1. Confirm that the vial remains deeply frozen upon delivery, as cells are shipped on dry ice to maintain optimal temperatures during transit.

2. Upon receipt, either store the cryovial immediately at temperatures below -150°C to ensure the preservation of cellular integrity, or proceed to step 3 if immediate culturing is required.

3. For immediate culturing, swiftly thaw the vial by immersing it in a 37°C water bath with clean water and an antimicrobial agent, agitating gently for 40-60 seconds until a small ice clump remains.

4. Perform all subsequent steps under sterile conditions in a flow hood, disinfecting the cryovial with 70% ethanol before opening.

5. Carefully open the disinfected vial and transfer the cell suspension into a 15 ml centrifuge tube containing 8 ml of room-temperature culture medium, mixing gently.

6. Centrifuge the mixture at 200 x g for 5 minutes, carefully discard the supernatant containing freezing medium.

7. Follow the procedure described under Post-Thaw Recovery
